Boost Your Body's Healing Process with BioDRestore
Expert Medical Care is proud to offer you the cutting edge in soft-tissue injury treatments with BioDRestore. BioDRestore injects placental tissue from living, healthy donors into the site of an injury to boost your natural healing and regenerative processes for a quicker and more effective recovery. BioDRestore is a natural product that has been scientifically and clinically proven to reduce inflammation, aid soft tissue repair, and reduce scar tissue formation.
Placental tissue is rich in collagen, protein, growth factors, and other cells that promote healing and regeneration in soft tissue. They rarely cause an immune response in the body, but there is always a slight risk of an adverse reaction. Our BioDRestore products come from healthy, pre-screened donors after a full-term pregnancy and scheduled Caesarean section delivery. They are obtained according to strict regulations from the Food and Drug Administration and the American Association of Tissue Banks. These treatments have been safely used over 15,000 times for dental, ocular, orthopedic, and wound care patients.
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections can treat a variety of musculoskeletal and joint pain issues. PRP contains certain growth factors in regards to healing various injuries and repairing tissue. Platelets in PRP are activated by the addition of thrombin and calcium chloride, inducing the release of these healing factors from alpha granules. PRP has been shown to optimize tissue regeneration, minimize tissue loss and inflammation, and decrease pain.
PRP is obtained from you. Your doctor will obtain approximately 50cc of blood from you via needle stick. The blood is placed in a centrifuge where the red blood cells are separated from the plasma, platelets, and white blood cells. Approximately 3cc of PRP is used to inject the injured area or joint. Three to four weeks of relative rest are required to promote healing and minimize the chance of injury.
We perform the latest treatments featuring joint injections with PRP and stem cells.
